People who are quick at typing are being sought by a firm in Derby that specialises in intellectual-property law.
Swindell and Pearson is looking for a full-time audio typist to join its team based at its Friar Gate head office.
An audio typist types up documents from recorded dictation. The successful candidate would also carry out general typing and administrative duties.
The firm said: “We are looking for a motivated team player with excellent typing skills. High-quality work is essential. Audio-typing skills would be an advantage although the desire to learn is more important.
“You will have experience of managing a busy workload with the ability to prioritise effectively.”
Swindell and Pearson is a firm of UK and European patent and trademark attorneys. It has been helping protects its clients’ intellectual-property rights for more than 135 years.
The company has recently expanded its offices. Last year, it bought a neighbouring grade-two-listed property in Friar Gate and has spent the last nine months refurbishing it.
The extended offices have since been officially opened by Derby North MP Chris Williamson.
