A new bar and restaurant planned for Derby County’s Pride Park Stadium is on the lookout for a host of staff.
Last month, the club was given permission to turn the former Funktion Fitness gym, in the south-west corner of the stadium, into a bar and restaurant.
Planning documents state it will be called The Yard. It is thought that the name might be a nod to the railway yards on which the stadium and the surrounding Pride Park business park were built.
It is understood that the bar and restaurant, which will have a floor space of 531 sq metres, could create up to 12 jobs, eight of which would be full-time roles and four part-time.

Delaware North UK – the company appointed to operate the bar and restaurant – is now advertising various hospitality and catering roles.
A job advert reads: “The football chants have been re-written and the players are back for a new season, preparing hard and training to make sure they are in the best place to make a charge towards play-off positions.
“Here at Delaware North we are no different and we are checking our team sheet to make sure we have the best players in our squad for the start of the Championship season in August.

“We are looking for skilful, fast team players who are available for selection for all match days at Pride Park Stadium. We need to add strength and talent in all areas of our squad.”
Roles up for grabs include assistant restaurant managers, a duty manager, restaurant host, bar staff and waiting staff.
Assistant restaurant managers will be paid between £22,000 and £26,000, depending on previous –experience
The duty manager will “laugh in the face of pressure” and be paid up to £20,000 for supporting the general manager and assistant restaurant managers in leading the team.
The restaurant host will earn £7.85 an hour and be required to “soak up pressure like a sponge”.
Pay for other roles begins at £8.83 per hour.

The advert says: “We are looking for quality, speed and accuracy for our squad so we can deliver special experiences for our guests, so if you think you have the right qualities get in touch.”
A description of the new bar and restaurant is also given. It says: “This is no cookie cutter restaurant concept – a new brand, new look, new feel restaurant is coming to Pride Park in Derby.
“The restaurant, based on the perimeter of the home of Derby County Football Club, will incorporate the local heritage of the area, ensuring a sense of pride and ownership for the people of Derby.
“Our starting point for this restaurant and bar was celebrating Derbyshire as a county from the local-influenced interior, local-inspired menu and going forward, the fantastic local team.
“The space will offer guests a place to meet for brunch, lunch and dinner or mingle over small plates and drinks in this relaxed space, any time of the day.
“Match days will come and this space will offer a warm welcome for those looking to eat and drink ahead of the big game in a bustling and vibrant atmosphere.”
