Loads of jobs up for grabs at East Midlands Designer Outlet


More than 60 jobs are set to be up for grabs with retailers at a major Derbyshire shopping complex as they look to boost staff numbers ahead of the busy Christmas period.
Businesses at McArthurGlen’s East Midlands Designer Outlet, in South Normanton, are to showcase the jobs at a careers fair, which is due to take place at the venue on Wednesday, October 11, from 6pm to 8pm.
Top brands at the centre who have so far signed up to the event include Hugo Boss, M&S, Nike, Yankee Candle, Superdry, GAP, and Soletrader, with more expected to join between now and when the careers fair takes place.

There will be a range of vacancies available, including full and part-time roles, open to people of all ages and experience.
According to East Midlands Designer Outlet, more than 200 people have so far registered to attend. The centre is expecting around 400 people to visit the careers fair on the day.

It is the third time that the centre has held such an event – and in previous years it has helped its shops fill around half their vacancies.
Centre Manager Paul Tyler said: “There is no better way to find dedicated staff for McArthurGlen Designer Outlet East Midlands than to reach out to our loyal customers and local community.

East Midlands Designer Outlet is home to more than 65 high street and designer brands, some of whom offer savings of up to 60% on their products.
Recent additions to the centre include a Lindt chocolate store and a branch of The Cosmetics Company.
