Discount supermarket chain Aldi has said it still has some roles available at its latest Derby store which is due to open in the next few weeks.
The firm is set open its next city outlet at the College Retail Park – and, according to its website, it is hoping to be up and running next month.
In the meantime, it is recruiting the 30 staff it needs for the store, part of a brand new development currently under construction on the former Mackworth College site between Normanton Road and Burton Road.
Aldi said it has already filled the majority of the positions – but it still has vacancies for roles including assistant store manager, deputy store manager, caretakers and apprentices.

The assistant store manager role involves supporting the store manager in reaching sales targets and leading the team of staff.
The successful applicant can expect to work a five-day, 48-hour week, including weekends and bank holidays. The starting salary is £31,300, rising to £38,170 after four years of service.
Aldi is also still looking to fill the deputy store manager position at the store. Working a minimum of 25 hours a week, the starting salary if £9.85 an hour, rising to £11.41 – plus an extra £4 an hour when responsible for managing the store.
Candidates with previous management experience are being sought for both positions.

The store also has a vacancy for an apprentice. This involves a three-year course with a mixture of in-store, practical experience, and theory work.
The scheme provides apprentices with store assistant training in year one and store management training in years two and three.
The starting salary is £180 a week in year one, rising to £267 per week in year three, which is significantly higher than the national minimum wage for apprenticeships.
A key appointment so far at the College Retail park store has been that of Mark Unwin, who has been handed the role of store manager.
Mr Unwin said: “I’m delighted to have the opportunity to manage this store.
“We’ve got the makings of a great team in place to help run the store and provide excellent customer service.
“The team and I are really looking forward to welcoming shoppers through the doors in the coming weeks and months.”
Aldi said it will confirm an exact date for the opening of the new store in the coming weeks.
